I get to tick one off the bucket list on this one as i finally get to ride Snowdon. i leave lucy in the early morning sun to what turns out to be one of the best rides i've done for a long time. i show a good bit of the descent down the Ranger Path after climbing the llanberis path but one this one it's all about the riding.

The shackles are off and we finally head back to Wales on a mini emtb road trip.Lucy gets to try out her new ebike on some proper trails as we spend three blissful nights in the campervan.There's also an update on the foxes and a few pov clips of each trail. One things for sure, its great to be back out again!

What do you use to filter the water please?
A good boil if it’s fresh and clear , otherwise we wind a life straw onto the end of our Ortlieb water bag 👍

@@2FeetForward I used to watch your camping videos, learned about the lanshan from you. Really enjoyed your videos but you seem to have stopped making them. Any plans for new videos?
To be honest I’ve probably 5 or 6 trips that I’ve videoed on the Mac but just can’t seem to find the time to edit any of them . That and the fact all my vlogging kit was stolen when we woke to a scumbag in the front of the camper in France 😡. The sod got our passports as well ! Once I replace all that there’s a good chance we’ll get uploading again 🤞. The Lanshan is still a great tent eh 👍

Thank you . To be honest it’s just the time it takes for each video. What with grandkids and being on call with the new job it’s proved too difficult to find the time . I’ve got about 5 vids recorded but just can’t spare the time to edit them 👎 .

Thank you , to be honest , DJI deserve the credit for the drone shots . It keeps itself so stable in a reasonable wind it’s brilliant and this is the first model from back in 2016 👍

Just come across this via the search algorithm as it is. I always keep three days of food and water in my crash out kit (Go bag) which stays in the under boot of my car. Even if I venture out on a camp I still keep it replenished just in case. Never know when it will be needed. Usual kit inc. Fire starters and fero rod, spirit burner and billie can. 8 litres of water and comprehensive first aid ruck, that sort of thing. Brilliant video loved the drama of your adventure. Marly was the star of course!

😂 what a drama queen😂 I grew up in South Texas we get snow we get 40°C temperatures in the summer 😂 we get hurricanes. We get tornadoes that can level entire cities and here you are whining 😂 😂 about a little bit of snow in the winter time.😂

The only failure I can see in these bothies is the stove is inside the fireplace instead of outside it . If placed outside the chimney the room heats up quicker and heat is dispersed over a larger area . that is my view for all its worth.
Hey , I'm considering this path on the summer, with a small dog (use to montaging hiking) but is small none the less (mini dachs) The scrambling on the way down to the watking path seems un easy. would you rather recommend the Pyg Track for dog ?
There is only a couple of bits where you may have to help your pooch but they’re not bad to be honest . It really depends on how capable your dog is though . I would much rather take this route than the pig track any day , simply because it’s sooo much quieter but again , it all depends on your dogs capability. Maybe safer to stick to the pig track and try this one another time on your own 👍

Yep and the climb is easy so she'll probably be able to do it all and you can just back pack her for the steep bits on the descent 👍

Not that trail but we went up via Tryfan and Bristly Ridge a good few years ago . It was a great way up but not for the faint hearted. Lucy had a proper ‘moment’ at one point . There’s an old vid we did on here 👍

Thank you ! No, nothing bad thank heavens but just couldn’t give it the time it deserved . What with new jobs and grandkids and being on call nowadays it’s been difficult to find the time to get the editing done . We have a good few trips recorded (one of which saw our van get broken into in France this year while we slept! ) but again it’s the editing time . Plus the sod nicked all my vlogging set up and our passports 😡. When funds allow we will hopefully put some more videos up but as for when we just can’t say 🤞

Hello Glyn , that would be our Tera nova quasar , it’s one of the original ‘90s models . The last time I checked you could still get the uk made yellow and grey version from terra nova as well as the standard green ones but that was a good while ago now .I think the quasar was the first tent to withstand 100mph winds in a wind tunnel so it’s pretty bomb proof and the main reason we bought it . I find myself coming back to this video after a few years. It really is a great example of what can go wrong for campers..... even for those who are experienced! Thank you Pete. Yes we’re doing ok , although I am getting over a nasty bout of pneumonia at the moment but on the mend . Hope all is well with you and yours .I keep saying I’m going to start uploading again and even have a good few trips that we’ve filmed but just can’t seem to find the time to edit them . Then , on a recent van trip to Spain , I woke to find a dirty thief in the front of our van ! I dived at him but he grabbed Lucy’s handbag which had our passports in and the sod got my Sony vlogging camera 😡 so I haven’t been able to replace it since as funds won’t allow . Hopefully a GoPro 12 will give me the inspiration to start up again when I eventually get one , so watch this space 👍.

We’re all good thanks , I did plan a vid of our last trip in the van to Spain but we were robbed at an overnight stop and the sod got my cameras 😡. Hopefully the insurance will pay up and I can replace it 🤞and start uploading again 🤞

So it did look nicer until scum took tables and break plastic chairs, burnt a bunch of things and ruined it, now its horrible :( still okay place to stay, but takes a few to ruin it for everyone! barely any chairs now and just a mess

Hi Mark . We recently decided to put vids up again and were going to video a trip we’ve just been on to Spain in the camper. Sadly we were robbed at a French aire and the b#stard got my Sony vlogging camera and microphone. We will put a vid up but it’s filmed on my old GoPro 4 . Needless to say it’ll be a little while until I sort out the funds for new camera . Keep an eye out for the Spain vid though (even if it is a bit shaky) 👍
Fantastic video thank you so much for posting this! I have scaled Yr Wyddfa twice via Crib Goch but both times it was covered in cloud and I did not realize what a scramble it is in parts! The only other walk I have done was the Llanberis track on a very clear day and the views were simply amazing.

Hi Matt, we’ve been off for so long I don’t get notifications on comments now lol. It’s been all work and grandkids for us I’m afraid . We have been getting away in the camper but just not videoing it. I decided to video our two week trip to Spain a couple of weeks ago but we woke to a bastard in the front of the van at 3am on the second night . He bolted with Lucy’s handbag and my vlogging camera , the handbag had our passports in 😡😡. I did video the trip but unfortunately on my old wobbly GoPro 4 black so I’ll see if I can salvage anything decent 🤞. Hope all is well with you and hopefully I’ll get a shaker vid up soon 👍
